Pure Aesthetics Gives Back

Fashion With A Purpose Gala
Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is making a difference in the lives of Lake Area cancer patients.
The hospital held its annual Fashion with Purpose Gala Saturday for cancer survivors at L’Auberge Casino Resort. Organizers say the gala brings in around $300,000 each year to help provide treatments and other resources for cancer patients.

Men Wear Pink
Men Wear Pink campaign ambassadors across the nation are stepping up and using the power of wearing pink to raise funds as we work to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. In fact, every dollar raised helps the American Cancer Society save more lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, breakthrough breast cancer discovery and research, and lifesaving patient support.

Oncology Aesthetics
Advanced training prepares aesthetics practitioners with knowledge to modify facial treatments, while ensuring the safety and comfort of their cancer clients. This treatment aims to improve complexion and boost skin’s immunity, which prevents future irritations. **A prior consultation is HIGHLY recommended prior to Oncology clients currently having any treatment.
Hale & Hush products, designed specifically for clients with sensitive or sensitized, health-challenged skin, reduce inflammation, redness, and itchiness while calming, healing and nourishing the skin. This facial includes microexfoliation (as appropriate for client) and multi-level, deep hydration to provide relief from symptoms of cancer treatment, like dryness and irritation, as well as a relaxing moment in a calm, caring environment.

Ethel Precht Walk
The WCCH Foundation is honored to carry out Ethel’s vision and legacy through the Ethel Precht Hope Breast Cancer Walk of WCCH. Funds raised will provide financial assistance and support to breast cancer patients and survivors in the parishes of Calcasieu and Cameron, in the form of:
– Medical expense coverage (including mammograms and genetic testing)
– Bras and special wear support garments
– Lymphedema sleeves
– Prostheses
We’ve seen firsthand the positive impact the Ethel Precht Hope Breast Cancer Foundation has made in the lives of breast cancer patients and survivors here in Southwest Louisiana and we will continue to meet the needs of local breast cancer patients and survivors in our community.
